After reading the first two books in this series, I hooked on Suza Kates' books. I love anything to do with witches, and I once again simply flew through this book. In my opinion, all three books in this series are excellent and I am eagerly awaiting the next book. I am currently reading Suza's book, She Who is Hidden, which has nothing to do with witches or Wicca, but I find that fascinating as well. I am normally drawn to books written by authors such as James Rollins, Steve Berry, David L. Golemon, etc. but since finding and reading Suza's books, I have a new favorite author! Although the series is pretty predictable. I liked this book and the 3 other's. They are well written and the sisterhood that forms between the witches is a nice read. You get to learn more about each one when it's her "time". I am looking forward to the rest of the series, I feel like I was left hanging waiting to see who is next in line....The author does a good job bringing her characters to life and their life style.
I've ready all the books in this series. These girls are like family. It will be sad when the series ends.
This was an excellent book, just as the other two in the series. Truly an enjoyable and well written book. Can't wait to read the new next one.
Very well written. It has all elements of a good book (to me); humor, drama, and some history sprinkled in. The characters are so well written, I feel as if I know them and care about their well being. Like I said in the title, I can't wait to read the next book. When I finish the series, I'll try another book written by Suza Kates. Enjoy!
Just as quickly as I read books one and two, I blasted through this book too. I read all three books over about four days. The story is predictable and follows a familiar formula, but the telling of the story is witty and keeps my attention. This is a series that I highly recommend.
Book three is again set about three months after Willyn's trial. This time the book focuses on Vivienne Sakurai, or Viv for short. She is a true scientist and refuses to see the mystical side of being a witch. She is determined to find a way to scientifically explain her gift. Her life is very controlled and void of any chaos (well aside from being a witch fulfilling a prophecy to keep a demon down!). It was interesting to read how her character handles each situation as her ordered life takes a tailspin.
This is the first book that had a tragedy in it and made it a little more realistic. If you are fighting a supernatural war between good and evil... then there has to be casualties. I also liked that the author started taking a few more risks with the relationships that develop in each of her books, but I don't want to give anything away so I will stop there. I recommend this book, and simply cannot wait for the next installment!!
Really really enjoyed this series. With so many disappointing supernatural stories out there this was a breath of fresh air and written with some class, not stupid witch porn! Will be checking out more of her work as I enjoyed ever minute of reading these books. Great character development, great story line and a creative and satisfying conclusion!
Binding of a Witch, book number three in the Savannah Coven series, introduces us to Viv Sakurai, a scientist whose constant need to understand and explain her powers keeps her from identifying with anything that is not. As a scientist, she understands facts…only facts. And the fact that she is a witch is difficult for her to accept. But with the help of her coven sisters, Viv must learn to have faith in her abilities in order to stay alive and keep those she has come to love alive as well. Chalk another tantalizing read up to Ms. Kates.
